Privacy policy

Zapp is a feed of small games you can play, save and make yourself. This policy explains what we collect when you use the Zapp app and this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details. When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive an account identifier, and the name and email you choose to share. You can change your display name and handle at any time.
- What you make. The prompts you write, the games generated from them, their revisions, and the previews and artwork produced for them.
- How you use Zapp. Games you like, save, play (including how long a session lasted and whether you won), report or block. Plays can be counted without an account; they are not linked to you unless you are signed in.
- Technical data. Basic request logs (time, route, response status) kept to run and secure the service. We do not log the contents of play links.
How we use it
- To run your account, store your games and show them to you.
- To build your feed: likes, saves, plays and wins help decide which games are shown.
- To generate games: your prompt is sent to our AI providers to design the game, review screenshots of it and, where enabled, create artwork.
- To keep Zapp safe: reviewing reported games, enforcing blocks and our terms, and preventing abuse.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who processes it
We use service providers to operate Zapp: a hosted database and file storage provider, a cloud hosting provider, and AI model providers that process prompts and game screenshots on our behalf. They may only use the data to provide their service to us. Games you publish, your handle, display name and bio are public.
Games running on your device
Games run locally in an isolated web view. A game receives only its own design and artwork through a short-lived play link; it never receives your account, your session or your contacts.
Your choices
- Delete your account from the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. This removes your profile, your games and their files, your likes, saves and reports. Backups roll over within 30 days.
- Unpublish or revise your games, and change your profile, at any time.
- Ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it by emailing us.
Children
Zapp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes and contact
We will post changes here and update the date above; significant changes will be announced in the app. Questions: support@ninelives.cc.
